More bad beats - f'n hell

Bad beat 1:

This occurred last night at a pokerstars buck tournament.
Me (6205): pocket 10s
Lucky Stiff (7109): J-A os
Blinds: 300-600

Pre-Flop:
Me: Raise to 1200
LS: Call

Flop: 6-10-J
Me: Bet 3000
LS: Raises all-in
Me: Call

Turn: J
River...wait for it...A!

I go out in 104th place. Unreal.

Bad Beat 2:

Pre-flop
Me: A-9 (I'm the BB)
Chaser: Kc-8c suited calls (not the SB - actually goes in with painted crap)
Unlucky A-holder: A6os
Me: calls.

Flop: A-A-3c
Me: Raises half my stack
UAH: All-in
Chaser: Calls
Me: Raises Chaser for all her chips (I have her covered)
C: calls

Turn: 10c
River: 5c

Unreal. Another DONKZ Chaser. I felt bad for the Unlucky ace holder. Having trips is hard to get away from, regardless of your kicker.

Sometimes I wonder if sub-optimal play turns poker into a lottery. I made up a phrase: SPIT - Solid Poker Induces Termination

More bad beats

I'm on the bubble at the Wass daily 1VIP tournament. Short stacked vs. someone with around 2000 more in chips

Me: AA
Lucky Man: QJ

Me: *bets half his stack*
LM: Raises to double that
Me: Calls

I show AA, LM shows QJ
Flop: 6-10-J
*Right now I'm already thinking - yep, donked.* I was right
Turn: Q
River: 8

I lose on the bubble. Gotta love it ;-)
Tune in next week when I play solid poker and get outdrawn at the worst possible time! Same bad beat time, same bad beat channel!

Update 2

Regarding the Degree Poker tournament, I wasn't able to attend, as I had other arrangements with friends, and they provided no accomodations for a freeroll. This was crappy, and as a result, I should have pimpsmacked the director, but did not.

Back at it with mediocre results!

My brilliant play has landed me an incredible bankroll of...around $43. All funded from freerolls. This is because I am incredibly cheap, yet good.

Let's recall a positive outcome for a change!

Me: AA
Idiot 1: - - (never got to see his hand since he mucked)
Idiot 2: K-J os (I know it's the Bill Fillmaff hand, so I naturally should have lost, but I got lucky I suppose :D )

Me: Raise to $1.50 (all in, hey it was a penny/two penny game)
Idiot 1: calls
Idiot 2: calls

Flop: 6-10-A (all clubs)
Turn: 9s
River: 6d

I land the full house after flopping the top set. I collect around $3.50 in the hand, as the idiots pooled their money in as such.

I can hopefully get a few dollars into a decent tournament soon. I am getting tired of having a small bankroll. Thanks.
